Internet as a asystem

Multilevel architecture

Internet standards embrace concepts of component structure and data exchange between the Internet components. Multivelel stack of protocols defines rules and requirements for the system which realises these protocols. Protocol analysis makes it possible to outline the structural framework of the Internet system and describe behavior and interaction of the system components.

Viewing the system structure and behavior

UML diagrams provide vivid corrålation of functional requirements of different protocols and Internet system architecture. UML provides tools to describe interaction of the system components. UML makes it possible to discover the essence of the components interaction logic, separate it from details of computing algorithms or message data formats.
